The were all in the shape and style of railway station signs.Īs we walked around we thought that it was a bit pricey, a Bara Brith, Welsh cake was over £6, it was half the price down the road in Tesco. ![]() The department signs were suspended from the metal beem structure that supported the roof. It was packed with so much, there was clothing, food, sweets, every sort of Welsh toys and souvenirs and so much more. Perhaps it was once a weaving factory that has been converted in to a store. The vast interior had an industrial feel with its steel roof and metal support beems and rods. ![]() However on the inside the most interesting aspect was the glass atrium/conservatory at the entrance. Which read "The Church of Mary in the hallow of the white hazel near the fierce whirlpool and the Church of Tysilio by the red cave".įrom the outside the building did resemble a Victorian arcade with it's glass and metal frame and glass covered walkway. We parked up in this Store's car park, by the Station, had a walk around and then came in here.Ībove the entrance to the Store there is a rather lengthy sign which had the name of the village on and beneath that it's English translation.
